May. 14th, 2002 07:32 pmSince I have nothing better to do right now, taking a break from work and waiting for a friend to pick me up I decided to start writing again to the void and well those of you that read this mess.
What does it mean to be a grad student? It means that your time is theirs, for the end of time. I used to work 8am to midnight now i take a couple breaks from that. I am learning.
I am learning not to feel guilty for not doing work every minute of the day. I get to have entire weekends off once in a while. I get to hang out with my friends some too. And I get to waste time rping... after all if I had a boyfriend I wouldn't be able to work 24-7 would I? So roleplaying is my sig other. My god that sounds sad. Need different hobbies.
So the upshot of it is only do this thing if its the only thing you want to do with your life... because its hard enough for those of us for which that is true.
