exhaustion

I must not have slept well last night because I can barely keep my eyes open. which sux because I have office hours right now and ndeed to stay awake.. Otherwise I would go upstairs and sleep on the couch in the ladies bathroom... ite like from the seventies and not too great but it does beat the hell out of the floor.

the bf is taking me to a fancy dinner tonight. I am very excited, we are getitng all dressed up. we don't get a chance to do that often so its exciting.

biography

I am reading the book _Possession_ upon which the new film is based. Its an interesting book so far about people who are trying to learn about two Victorian poets. Right now they are trying to learn about them from letters. I wonder what people will do who are trying to learn about our lives. Emails are so quickly erased, unlike letters which used to be cherished and carefully tied in ribbons and then stowed away. Now our correspondences are so much more immediate. And so much more easily and often disposed of.

I wonder what people would learn about me from what I write. Would it give them a picture of who I am? Who I was? I have wondered that all my life. I used to keep a written journal although not always dilligently written in. But now with the lj I do all my writing here.
