So I went to see the orthopedist and his advice was to stop doing exercise except for swimming... thats right that means no PT for a while... and take anti-inflammatories. 6-8 weeks no dancing, no long walks, no nothing.
I am so sick of just sitting around all the time. I miss boxing, I miss the gym. I guess I will go back and just do arm stuff. I never got good at swimming nor ever really liked it but I guess I will have to. My body can't afford 6-8 more weeks of no cardio activity. I had hoped for a shot of cortisone, or a new exercise to do or something.
Into every life a little rain must fall... that's the saying isn't it? So what happens when you feel like you are in the monsoon?
I guess the answer is you buy a really fantastic raincoat and start to not mind being wet. I am now going to see what kind of swimming classes MIT offers since I will certainly need to brush up on how to swim.
