(no subject)

So I walked to the T today and for the first time in a while got there with very little pain. Don't know if it was the E-stim that they did on my leg yesterday or what but it really feels better. I hope it stays that way.

stupid stupid stupid

Today I have had to deal with all kinds of stupidity. First of all my registration was put on hold. Why? Because the clever little automatic system that the school has regulating this did not realize that when my loans come in I will be fine. That was fun straightening out.

Then I got to deal with the postdoc who was supposed to fix my code. Whatever it was so not worth the effort. I had to change almost all of it myself anyway. I have been trying to get him to check the code for two and half days over email so far but he didn't until I made him today. And it turned out he messed up the logic in one place. Once we got that working I realized that the change he made didn't actually do what I needed it to. So I changed it again. Now it seems to be working .

The toshiba lady did not get back to me about my computer because her server had been down the last few days and therefore she was having techical difficulties. Ha, way to instill confidence in me that you can get my computer working. She better call me early next week or they are getting another bitchy voice mail message.

When nature calls.....

So this may be TMI but deal.

I am warning those who read this about a problem that I have had and that is very avoidable. Many have heard me talk about one of my rules... When nature calls answer the damn phone. There is a reason for this.

I used to, and still sometimes do, avoid going to the bathroom when it is inconvenient. Like when I ma too sleepy, or engrossed in work, or in a class, or a long car trip etc. Guess what? You can bruise your bladder that way. And it never has the same amount of stamina again.

So take this advice and make my rule one of your own, your body will thank you for it.

My bad luck is finally over when it comes to women. I used to have this problem where whenever I met a girl through a guy they hated me. This goes for most cousins, sisters, girlfriends, roommates, ex's you name it. Or rather they didn't hate me but felt threatened and always acted defensively. It always took me awhile to convince them of how charming I was.

With my new guy this is not the case however. Apparently his roomie thinks I am cool and his ex likes me enough to invite me to a party she is having... specifically me... not just me as his date.

I don't know what it is but it is nice to meet these women without their claws out.
