stupid stupid stupid

arachne8xToday I have had to deal with all kinds of stupidity. First of all my registration was put on hold. Why? Because the clever little automatic system that the school has regulating this did not realize that when my loans come in I will be fine. That was fun straightening out.
Then I got to deal with the postdoc who was supposed to fix my code. Whatever it was so not worth the effort. I had to change almost all of it myself anyway. I have been trying to get him to check the code for two and half days over email so far but he didn't until I made him today. And it turned out he messed up the logic in one place. Once we got that working I realized that the change he made didn't actually do what I needed it to. So I changed it again. Now it seems to be working.
The toshiba lady did not get back to me about my computer because her server had been down the last few days and therefore she was having techical difficulties. Ha, way to instill confidence in me that you can get my computer working. She better call me early next week or they are getting another bitchy voice mail message.
