arachne8xSo my old roomate shows up about 30 min late with my table. Scratched to hell. Thank god one of my friends crashed at my place and was able to help me move it.
Then we watched waiting for guffman because as my associate put it... I needed a break. Then I went to work and got bitched at by my boss. However, I did finish some more of my thesis yesterday which is now 18 pages thanks very much... and I found out my test results were negative, and that I have been approved for my new card so once they transfer the balance I am home free.
My new roomie is lending me a few bucks while I wait. I feel really guilty about it but at least I can assure her that I can pay her back in about a week.
Now all that is left is to scrub some of the new place... and collect the last few remnants of my things there which I hope is not much.
I am leaving the laptop home tonight as I do not want to work tonight. Perhaps I will bring it home tomorrow.
Life is looking up at least a little. Although my advisor is a bit peeved at me he seems to accept the fact that I am not finished yet.
My office mate yesterday saved my ass when it came to transporting my papasan chair, and brought a puppy to the office. Then my other office mate gave me her T-pass for the rest of this month!!!
All in all I must say that my friends are all coming through for me. I have had so many people go out of their way to do what they could and I want to thank all of them.
Thank you for the kind im's. Thank you for the lunches and the coffees. Thank you for the heavy lifting and the driving. Thank you for the smiles and the hugs. I know that I have been a perfectly miserable person to be around recently so I just want to say thanks for putting up with me.
