Yay me!

my bf is a huge garbage fan.... HUGE! and since I spend a lot of time with him in his car I hear plenty of garbage songs. well anyway they are playing in worchester (woosta to you non new englanders) and my roomie had said a while back that she might be able to get us tickets or maybe even back stage passes.

So ever since she said this I have been getting quizzed on a semi regular basis as to when she might be able to get them for us.

And I keep telling him that he should ask her. We share an apt not a brain.

So today I asked her and found out that she and the other person that she was going to go with decided not to go.

So then I checked and there were still tickets. I called him (which I only do during work for emergencies such as this) and asked him if he wanted them.

He said yes. Then he asked me if he has mentioned lately how great I am.

So yay for me. I made someone happy today.

Oh and I am relieved that it seems that some of the students did ok this weekend and early week without my help. At least the one I was most worried about did.

Chris was the one who was talking about the free tickets and backstage passes. He has a friend in the industry. The concert is with a different from usual promoter though so could get the tickets for free. And paying to see them open for No Doubt after a less than stellar album (I still like it. I just like Garbage, Version 2.0, and even Shirley's Angelfish CD better.) in Worcester during Head of the Charles weekend... Sorry, I'll be spending my free time oggling spandex clad eye candy. ;) It's a once a year opportunity. The eye candy returns to Wisconsin, England, California, etc. after this weekend. Anyone else want to oggle hot crew boys (or girls if you're a guy)? If so, email me aml@mit.edu
