ok mini crisis

So would like to go to NYC for the ball. But still can't decide what my char would wear to a masked ball. Or even if she understands what one is. I do not think she has worn a dress since she was five.

Anyone got any ideas?

If it were me, I'd go with a hockey mask or a catcher's mask. Functional and slightly ironic -- a mask isn't just for decoration, it has a *use*. And atheletes are often modern warrior-scholars, at least on the college level.

Or you could have her ask someone in character, picking someone based on how accurate/appropriate an answer you want your character to get.

A hockey mask sounds fun. So does a cheap costume (plastic-r-us). So does a frilly pink dress.
