Jun. 8th, 2002 11:15 amSo last night I had a great time dancing at this place where they had "Sin" night. It was lots of fun. I wasnt sure how to dress so I wore a short skirt... garter belt, stockings and my stacked heels. Also a topped that looked like it was torn. At any rate had a fabulous time... although stillettos are not as fun to dance in as other shoes so I was kind of forced to dance stripper style.
Afterwards a bunch of us took a cab to IHOP. There we met up with some friends. Two of us were having a great time singing a little song. Then someone decided to be a jerk. He didn't say "Please gals don't sing." He told us to stop that wavering caterwauling that we called singing. His excuse for his rudeness is that he has perfect pitch.
Fuck off. I know plenty of people with perfect pitch who aren't assholes. Look the fact is that you just need to deal, I don't tell people to stop dancing because they aren't doing it perfectly. I hate it when people have bad fake german accents but besides the occaisional comment to someone about it I don't ruin other people's fun.
I am so irritated that people think that being smart or having some sort of skill gives you the right to be so rude. If you want people to stop doing something ask them nicely. Use the p word. Learn some respect and common decency.
You know the fact is that no matter how harsh I am when I tease people that is all it is.. teasing. Trust me you will know if I am serious about criticizing you. I have heard flames come out of my eyes when I am mad.
So I guess here is the public service message: Yes I make cruel comments.... do I mean them? NO!!! Do you really think I would hang out with a bunch of stupid losers? Hell no!!! Those of you who are my friends are people that I consider to be interesting and worthy of friendship. I am teasing, being sarcastic. In my house sarcasm was a a part of speech. ie "Did you get any blood on the carpet honey?" Yeah thats the way we treat eachother in my house. Maybe its not nice but its a way of life. And the people I have been friends with in the past have the same tendency to rag on eachother.
If I cross the line please tell me. And tell me in a sincere way so that I can't mistake your meaning. I don't want to be that asshole.
